Here are Your Responsibilities as a Master Plumber for Mr. Rooter Plumbing

As master plumber, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their homes and businesses will be safe and that we are taking every measure to resolve plumbing

challenges.

Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:

• You will help customers with various plumbing needs, from installations to repairs, while explaining the best solutions for any given problem. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's or business's main line.
• You must be detailed oriented and willing to undertake challenging tasks.
• You have a strong foundation in plumbing tools and technology and are excited to work with digital platforms like iPads and service software. We’ll teach you the best way to use every tool.
• Your license will be tied to the operations of the Chapel Hill Mr. Rooter location, establishing you as the face of our company. This includes providing project management oversight as required by state and county requirements.
• Providing guidance to our up-and-coming interns and apprentice plumbers.
• Ensure Safety Standards are met and exceeded by implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
• Provide quality control by routinely inspecting the work of the plumber and supporting staff to ensure it meets all regulatory standards
• You are willing to champion our branded dress code, conduct business according to our high customer service standards and adopt the Mr. Rooter way of operations.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for the Master Plumber position:

• Minimum 2 years of prior professional-level Master Plumbing experience.
• Must hold valid Master Plumbers license in the state of North Carolina.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations as well as national and company pluming standards.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with owners, customers, regulatory authorities, and direct reports with respect and dignity.

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for our Master plumbers is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually, depending on your level of experience and involvement in day-to-day operations. Our service professionals are paid a base hourly fee PLUS incentives based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability.

We take care of setting all the appointments so you can focus on doing what you do best - repairing our customers' homes and businesses.
