As a Fleet Mechanic on the Trench Right team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on excavation equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems to implement effective repairs.
  • Replace or repair defective parts and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with operators to assess equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
  • Haul dirt and debris from our yard to job sites and bump facilities. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machinery technology.
  • Perform other duties as requested

 

Bring your skills and achieve success (Required qualifications):

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic, specifically with heavy machinery and excavation equipment.
  • Valid Class A CDL and ability to operate heavy machinery.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass a basic background check and drug screen.
  • Sense of humor.

Competitive Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE.

Location: 3125 Century St., Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Schedule/Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
