As a Part-Time Social Media & Production/Design Intern on the Mr. Rooter team, a typical day for you will include:

 Social Media Support

  • Create and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & more
  • Track trends and engagement to help shape content
  • Engage with followers and support community building
  • Assist in campaign planning and promotion

Design & Production

  • Design visual assets: graphics, reels, stories, etc.
  • Support photo/video shoots and editing projects
  • Organize digital assets and maintain brand consistency
  • Use tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut

Team Collaboration

  • Join team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Help with marketing reporting and content performance insights
  • Support creative campaigns and special projects

 

Bring your skills and achieve success.

  • Skilled in social media platforms
  • Must have experience with design tools such as Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, CapCut
  • Strong eye for detail and creative consistency
  • Organized, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Great communicator and excited to learn
  • TikTok content creation experience (Preferred but not required)
  • Copywriting skills (Preferred but not required)
  • Photography or video production interest (Preferred but not required)
  • Sense of humor
  • Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or similar

Schedule/In-office requirements: Part-time, hybrid schedule (we're flexible and can accommodate your preferences!). The internship runs until August 2025 with an option to continue on a reduced hourly basis during the school year.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour
