Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For

Initially, you’ll team up with a more experienced equipment operator to train on the knowledge and skills you’ll need to perform. Once you are up to speed, you’ll be the face of the company and critical in providing an excellent experience for our customers.

You’ll provide crucial services for our customers’ homes and families. Here are the things you’ll be responsible for:

· Providing Repair and Maintenance Services - You’ll do things like towing equipment and excavating for drainage systems, and exposing broken sewer lines so our expert plumbers can repair and replace.

· Following Our Mr. Rooter Plumbing Process - You’ll follow our proven process, working with our drain cleaners and plumbers.

  • Driving the pump truck and pumping grease traps and septic tanks.
  • Physical labor, sometimes you will have to use a jackhammer, dig holes by hand, use a ladder to climb in and out of the hole you may be excavating, carry buckets of stone from point A to point B, and lay concrete and many more things.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this General Labor position:

· Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs., bend, stoop, and crawl into confined spaces.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable - you’ll be driving our company vehicle.
  • MUST have a clean/valid CDL (Class A or B) NYS drivers license, with Tanker & Air Break endorsements. If you don’t have the endorsements, you must be willing to get them at the start of employment.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Start time 7:30am until 4pm, or sometimes until the job is finished.

The starting pay range for this position is $27.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience doing similar work.
